Interscholastic racing is a key part of the NICA experience. Like all aspects of NICA’s programs, there are no cuts, and no one sits on the bench on race day – everyone is welcome to compete! NICA’s inclusive events challenge athletes to build their confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship while teaching discipline, goal-setting, and teamwork. Racing in a team environment helps student-athletes develop empathy, humility, and a strong sense of community.
